We Help Children Too |

We are happy to work with children. However only in the following circumstances:
¨ With the express permission of the parent or legal guardian. ¨ Where the child has already been assessed by a medical practitioner. ¨ The child is 11 years of age or older.
Where the treatment of a child under the age of 16 is concerned, the parent, legal guardian or other adult nominated by them must be in attendance at each of the sessions.
Children between 16-18 may be seen in private by the therapist, however they should be accompanied on their visit by a responsible adult.
Areas of experience of working with children include:
¨ Fears & phobias, e.g. dogs, flying, vomiting etc. ¨ Enuresis (bed wetting) ¨ Travel sickness ¨ Nail biting ¨ Hair pulling ¨ ADHD ¨ Anxiety generated by bullying at school ¨ Anxiety associated with tests, public performance and exams |
