Quit Smoking
"Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever-scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. Willpower, it turns out, counts for very little". New Scientist vol. 136 issue 1845 If you really want to quit and you’ve already tried willpower and various other methods without success, then our unique combination of advanced hypnosis and NLP techniques may help you achieve your goal. The fact is that you may want to consciously give up for many good reasons, but your subconscious mind is simply continuing to run the old, now unwanted, instructions that were given to it whenever you have smoked. You struggle to give up as you’re effectively “fighting yourself”.
We have helped many people to give up smoking with a single 60-90 minute session! So what are you waiting for?
Habits & Compulsions (alcohol, chocolate, OCD, etc.) It’s debatable as to where the line should be drawn between a habit and a compulsion/obsession. For simplicity consider a habit as an action that is largely carried out without the awareness of the conscious mind. A compulsion/obsession however is known to the conscious mind, which “fights” to prevent the behaviour repeating itself.
Habit ¨ Nail biting ¨ Hair twiddling and pulling ¨ Nervous twitch ¨ Stammering ¨ Bed-wetting etc. Compulsive/Obsessive Behaviour ¨ Alcohol abuse ¨ Drug abuse ¨ Need to perform a ritual, such as repeated hand washing, checking for locked doors/windows, sniffing a book etc.
Anxiety & Panic Anxiety is a natural and essential emotion that keeps the individual safe. Anxiety is built up from life experiences that teach us what is an acceptable and what is an unacceptable risk for us to take. However if Anxiety grows out of proportion to the stimulant, and even seems illogical and inappropriate (without a direct identifiable stimulant or underlying cause) to the individual then it can become a "life-limiting" condition, and in its extreme form may result in panic attacks. A panic attack is a defensive, yet inappropriate, reaction that is designed to get the individual away from the source of the fear (which in many cases cannot be directly identified) to an apparent place of safety. The individual experiencing the panic attack is completely overcome with the need to escape and can think of nothing more, rational thought is totally absent and "instinct" takes over. Because for many suffering a panic attack there is not an easily directly identifiable cause the individual is likely to become even more anxious so worsening the panic state. In this way an individual can then find themselves caught up in a seemingly never-ending cycle of anxiety and panic.
You don’t have to live like this. With help you can begin to live your life again. Call now.
